PM Imran Khan instructs team to brief nation on findings of Indian hand in Johar Town Blast

On June 23, a blast in Johar town of Lahore took place which ended up killing 3 people and injuring 22 people which also includes 2 police officials. The conference was moderated by the Federal Minister for Information Fawad Chaudhry, National Security Adviser (NSA) Dr Moeed Yusuf, and Inspector General for Police (IGP) Inam Ghani.

It was disclosed in the conference that Pakistan has concrete evidence which links the blast of Johar town to India. Proofs of Indian involvement in Johar Town Blast

According to the findings of NSA the blast was carried out by an Indian citizen who also had prominent connections with RAW (Research and Analysis Wing). “The attack had a connection with the Indian-sponsored terrorism against Pakistan”. NSA further added that they have all the information regarding the fake and real names of the people who were involved in the attack. The money used in the blast was transferred through a third country.

National Security Adviser Dr Moeed Yusuf elaborated in the conference that the role of India is quite prominent in the blast as thousands of cyber attacks were carried out on the infrastructure of Pakistan on the same day. The occurrence of two parallel events cannot be placed on a coincidence. It was done so the attention could be diverted from the blast, however, the cyber security of Pakistan has improved greatly which is why everything was retained back.

Dr Moeed Yusuf also identified one of the primary suspects of the blast. His name is Eid Gul and he positioned the car with explosives. He also added that India tried to create drama in the occupied Jammu and Kashmir to divert the attention from the real issue. Pakistan will not stay quiet when its people are being killed and if the international community prefers to stay silent then it only implies that they have no interest in peace.
