Afghan Vacancies, no CSS or PMS required

The Taliban took hold of the capital of Afghanistan on Sunday (15 August) and following the news of Ashraf Ghani’s departure, the Taliban now have a more stronghold as they are the only ruling party in Afghanistan.

People have taken to Twitter to make memes on the hierarchal structure of power and joking that in order to become a commissioner in Afghanistan, one does not need to pass competitive exams like CSS or PMS.

Alongside the daunting repercussions that may occur due to the Taliban takeover in Afghanistan, another trending hashtag has come about as Taliban officials formally restart office. The hashtag ‘#DC Alhamdulillah’ has become a popular joke on Twitter.

The Twitterati have fueled the site with numerous jokes about taking a governmental office by just being part of the Taliban group.

Some have even taken to calling out the DC Islamabad, Hamza Shafqat, to share his thoughts about this competition.

The DC Islamabad has good-naturedly replied to these jokes by making his own call on “No files and I think they are using e-office.”
