In the current season, 4,292 instances of mosquito-borne viral illness have been documented in Islamabad.
“Mosquitoes breeding in public locations poses a risk to you, your family, and your community,” the health ministry wrote in a Twitter statement.
The ministry in its message advised everyone to, “Avoid throwing plastic bottles, tires, open containers, or any object that can collect water and breed mosquitoes. Also ensure proper disposal of trash”.
Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had instructed the state to step up surveillance measures to combat dengue fever, while also ensuring that citizens have access to the finest medical care possible.
CM Usman Buzdar has directed that anti-fever drugs be made available, as well as that all resources be used to combat dengue disease. Furthermore, he stated that the administration must ensure that the anti-dengue measures are strictly implemented. There will be no tolerance for indifference.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid, the provincial health minister, spoke with the chief minister over the phone. He gave directions on how to stop the mosquito-borne sickness from spreading.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid stated that the health authorities are making every effort to ensure that anti-fever medications are readily available. She stated that she was personally overseeing the medical treatment of dengue victims.
