Shahroze Kashif: 19-year-old becomes youngest Pakistani to scale K2

The 19-year-old Pakistani from Lahore, Shahroze Kashif is now the youngest Pakistani to scale K2 which is the second tallest peak in the world. Shehroze climbed the 8,611-meters summit today and hoisted Pakistan’s flag.

 Kashif’s father told the news that Kashif reached the summit today at 8:10 am. He reached the base camp of K2 on July 14.

After becoming the youngest Pakistani to summit Mount Everest in May, Shahroz Kashif from Lahore has today summited K2 & is also now the Youngest in the WORLD to scale the K2

Shahroze became the youngest mountaineer to summit Mount Everest on May 6 which is the tallest peak in the world. The young climber is from the capital of Punjab. He started climbing at the age of 11. He has ascended the following peaks:

• Makra Peak – 3,885 meters
• Chembra Peak – 4,600 meters
• Manglik Sar Peak – 6,050 meters
• K2 Base Camp – 5,583 meters
• Khurdopin Pass – 5,890 meters
• Broad Peak – 8,047 meters

Shahroze is regarded as one of the world’s youngest mountain climbers, having climbed two of the world’s highest peaks back-to-back.
