PTI defectors to be included in new ‘King’s Party’: Imran Khan

Imran Khan says he will not backout from his stance

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan on Tuesday alleged that a new political party was being established in the country and those who had left PTI would join the “King’s Party”.
“What I have understood is that a new “king’s party’ is being made. Those who have left PTI are being added to that the king’s party,” he said while addressing his party’s workers virtually.
Lashing out at the ruling coalition government, he asserted that the country’s institutions were being undermined and used to target his party.
The former prime minister said the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) was losing people’s support, emphasizing that masses were reluctant to attend its public gatherings. He held the PML-N responsible for the prevailing “cruelty” in the country and questioned whether such a coalition was capable of resolving the nation’s challenges.
Khan stressed that a strong government should have the support of the people, rather than relying on the establishment. He reiterated that only a government elected by the people’s mandate could take significant decisions.
During his address, he also expressed concern over the disappearance of his “security head” and declared that he would not back down from his stance. He accused certain elements of spreading fear to subjugate the population and emphasized the need to struggle for true independence.
Khan criticized the issuance of a warrant for his wife, alleging an attempt to humiliate her.
He questioned the credibility of any claims branding him a traitor, stating that sacrifices would be required for freedom and pledging his refusal to accept subjugation under any circumstances.
