A Four-Year-Old Girl Was Killed In A Crossfire During A Store Robbery In Karachi

During a heist at a mini-mart near Landhi Manzil Pump in Karachi, a four-year-old girl was killed. Injuries were also sustained by a robbery suspect.

According to the police, an exchange of gunfire occurred between the mart’s guard and three dacoits as they exited after ransacking the market. The exchange of fire and the two criminals fleeing the store can be seen on closed-circuit television (CCTV) camera footage.

Three robbers entered the mart near the Landhi Manzil pump, according to the police. When the robbers opened fire as they were leaving the mart, the shopping store’s security guard retaliated with his firearm. He shot and injured one of the robbers, and the minor girl, who was passing by on her motorcycle with her elder brother, was also shot.

The injured girl was transported to a local hospital, but she died there. Her brother petitioned the authorities for justice.

The minor’s body was taken to Jinnah hospital for a postmortem, according to the police. The injured dacoit was taken to the hospital as well.

Police are also looking into whether the gunshot that struck the girl was fired by the security guard or by the gang.

The injured suspect Pyar Ali was apprehended by police, and firearms and Rs50,000 were retrieved from his hands, while the other two suspects managed to flee.
