Fawad: Pakistan To Develop A Combined Television Station With Turkey And Malaysia

According to Radio Pakistan, Minister of Information and Broadcasting Chaudhry Fawad Hussain has announced the establishment of a joint television channel to strengthen media cooperation between Pakistan, Turkey, and Malaysia.

In an interview with the press in Islamabad, he stated that focal points for media sharing have been identified, and a cooperative media network will be established.

Extremism must be combated in Pakistan, Malaysia, and other Muslim countries, according to Chaudhry Fawad. He stated that an OIC platform should include a unit of scholars to offer religious advice.

Moreover, The minister claimed that the Rehmat-ul-Alamin Authority’s jurisdiction would be expanded and that the OIC would form a comparable organization.

Drama series of Pakistan and Turkey 

Pakistan and Turkey stated earlier this year that they will collaborate on a historical play based on the life of Salahuddin Ayyubi.

Salahuddin, popularly known as Saladin, was a brilliant warrior and the founder of the Ayyubid Dynasty. He is one of the most famous Muslim rulers in the world.

The series will be co-produced by Pakistan’s Ansari & Shah Films and Emre Konuk, owner of Turkey’s Akli Films.

Following the official announcement, Turkish producer Emre Konuk took to Twitter and referred to the agreement as “prolific on a blessed Friday night.”
