The Pakistan Kissan Ittehad (PKI) announced on Friday that it would begin a protest action against rising prices, according to the Daily Times.
Chairman of Pakistan Kissan Ittehad (PKI) Chaudhry Khalid Hussain said that the protest march will commence on December 17 in Balochistan.
According to the head of the grower of crops, they are experiencing difficulties as a result of rising prices in the country and being compelled to queue for extended periods of time to obtain fertilizers.
Chaudhry also claimed that fertilizer prices have increased by 300 percent. The PKI has asked the government to investigate the situation because farmers are the country’s backbone, and rising inflation and fertilizer prices are wreaking havoc on them.
After successful talks with Punjab Law Minister Raja Basharat last year, the Kisan Ittehad Pakistan proclaimed the end of their strike.
