Survey shows Positive Confidence of Foreign Investors: Imran Khan

Islamabad: In a tweet on Monday (23rd August), Prime Minister Imran Khan comes forward with encouraging results from a survey, conducted by the Overseas Investors Chamber of Commerce & Industry (OICCI), called the Business Confidence Index (BCI).

The survey shows a rise of 59 percent which turns Pakistan’s score from negative 50%, in May 2020, to positive 9%. The OICCI member’s confidence was also shown to have risen from -74% in June 2020, to 34% in July 2021. This is an impressive turnaround of 108%, which reflects the newly acquired interest of the business community in the Pakistani market especially foreign investors.
