COVID 19 Vaccination in Islamabad – Dr Zaeem Zia,

Dr Zaeem Zia, District Health Officer Islamabad talked to The Verified team about Mass Vaccination Centres established in the capital. National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) chief Asad Umar had inaugurated a mass coronavirus vaccination facility on 19 May 2021 in Islamabad. With 75 counters, the facility has the capacity to inoculate 7,000 people daily. In total so far over 30pc of Islamabad’s population has been vaccinated against Covid19 as weekly positivity further drops.

Islamabad continues to see a downward trend in daily positivity as per numbers released from NCOC.
