China willing to mediate between Iran-Pakistan

An unprecedented conflict between 2 brotherly countries in decade-old relationship

China showed willingness on Thursday for mediating between Pakistan and Iran who downgraded their bilateral relationship following start of a sudden conflict between decade old brotherly countries.

As per authentic information gathered by this scribe, Iran initiated the conflict by lunching an “unprovoked” missile attack that was responded by Pakistani side in less than 48 hours and what the ISPR described as “precision strikes”.

The Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) shared the details about operation Marg Bar Sarmachar in a news release today that said “the precision strikes were carried out using killer drones, rockets, loitering munitions and stand-off weapons.”

The Foreign Office also confirmed the strikes on the Iranian border after Tehran violated its sovereignty and launched a strike in Balochistan that left two children dead and injured three girls.

Meanwhile, during a press conference in Beijing, China’s Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Mao Ning said the Chinese side sincerely hopes that the two sides can exercise calm and restraint and avoid an escalation of tension.

“We are also willing to play a constructive role in de-escalating the situation if both sides so wish,” she added.

The Chinese Consul General in Karachi Yang Yundong also expressed China’s willingness to play a constructive role in settling differences between both nations.

“China would like to ask Pakistan and Iran that we will like to play a constructive role to settle the differences between the two countries,” Yundong said exclusively talking to private media.

A day rarlier, Pakistan recalled its ambassador from Iran while the ambassador of Iran, who is currently in his country, was told to stay in his home country.

Caretaker Prime Minister Anwar-ul-Haq Kakar cut short his visit to the World Economic Forum in Davos amid escalating tensions between Pakistan and Iran.

Islamabad also announced suspending all high-level visits that were ongoing or were planned between Pakistan and Iran in the coming days.
