Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chief Imran Khan told a foreign media that his arrest was imminent in any of a case filed against him for various charges during the present government tenure.
“I have no doubt that it’s a question of time, whether it’s on Monday or some other day next week. I’m convinced they’re going to put me in jail because every day I have more cases against me,” Khan said last week during a video interview with Fox News Digital.
“I think I’ve broken a world record that I have now 180 cases — and increasing by the day — and, unfortunately, right now, we are facing the law of the jungle,” he insisted. “This is unprecedented.”

Khan clarified his stance, stating that his objective was not to be anti any government but rather to prioritize the well-being of the people who elected him, particularly in their struggle against poverty.
He emphasized Pakistan’s historical assistance to the United States, first during the “jihad” against the Soviets in the 1980s and later in the war on terror after the 9/11 attacks.
Pakistan endured significant consequences from these conflicts, Khan explained. The Soviet-Afghan war in the 1980s resulted in 5 million refugees, proliferation of weapons and drugs, and the rise of militant groups, which took a heavy toll on Pakistan. Similarly, after joining the U.S. war on terror, over 80,000 Pakistanis lost their lives, and the economy suffered a loss of over $100 billion.
