Fatima Bhutto ties knot in intimate ceremony

Ceremony held in Karachi

Granddaughter of late Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto and an author Fatima Bhutto has tied the knot in intimate Nikkah ceremony held at her family’s residence in Karachi’s Clifton 70.
Her brother Zulfikar Ali Bhutto junior made the announcement about the marriage of his sister on social media networking sites on Friday.
“On behalf of our father, Shaheed Mir Murtaza Bhutto and the Bhutto family, I’m very happy to share some happy news. My sister Fatima and Graham were married in an intimate nikkah ceremony yesterday at our home, 70 Clifton,” Bhutto junior said in a tweet.

He said the ceremony was attended by Fatima’s loved ones in their grandfather’s library, a place that meant a lot to the bride. “Due to the difficult circumstances felt by our fellow countrymen and women, we all felt it would be inappropriate to celebrate lavishly,” he added.
He also urged to pray for both the bride and groom’s happiness.
Fatima Bhutto had married a foreigner named Graham. However, reportedly the groom has been converted and became a Muslim.
His new name is Gibran which was also mentioned by Bhutto junior in his same twitter post.
