According to the latest received news, the National Command and Operations Centre (NCOC) decided on Wednesday (15 December) that the winder vacations will be moved to January 2022 for schools
All provinces agreed to the plan, hence the decision was unanimous. The length of the vacation, on the other hand, will be decided during the NCOC meeting.
The decision was made in accordance with the recommendations made at the inter-provincial meeting of education ministers.
According to NCOC sources, the vaccination process would continue in educational institutions, with educational institutions remaining closed in areas with significant snowfall.
The Inter-Provincial Education Ministers Conference (IPEMC) was conducted on Tuesday to explore whether winter holidays in educational institutions can be shifted from December to January due to a number of concerns.
Following the discussion, Federal Education Minister Shafqat Mahmood declared that the winter vacation will be from December 25 to January 4, but that additional information would come from the appropriate governments.
