PM Imran Khan To Make Pakistan A great Sporting Nation

Prime Minister Imran Khan stated on Wednesday (8th December) that the government was revamping the sports framework to make Pakistan a great sporting nation, citing “huge youth turnout” at the opening of the “Kamyab Jawan Talent Hunt” program in Islamabad earlier this week.

Prime Minister Imran Khan has promised that the country’s whole athletic organization will be overhauled in order to allow new world-class athletes to emerge from the grassroots.

The Prime Minister in his message on Twitter said, “We are reforming the structure of our sport and making more sports grounds so we can make Pakistan a great sporting nation.”

Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive

The prime started the ‘Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive’ at the Jinnah Stadium Sports Complex in Islamabad on Monday.

Under the talent search program’s first phase, 12 separate games for males and 10 for girls would be held throughout 25 regions.

PM Imran addressed the inaugural event, saying that he could convey why sports were important for youngsters because of his 21 years of experience. He said, “When you learned to fight in the arenas of sports you learn to win and also learned to understand defeat.”

In partnership with the Kamyab Jawan Program and the Higher Education Commission, the Kamyab Jawan Sports Drive was launched. The drive was one of four Rs4 billion projects launched by the government to keep young people involved in extracurricular and sporting activities.
