Abdul Quddus Bizenjo Appointed As The New CM Of Balochistan

Abdul Quddus Bizenjo, the head of the Balochistan Awami Party (BAP), was chosen unopposed as the new Chief Minister of Balochistan on Friday (29 October).

Bizenjo received 39 votes during the Balochistan Assembly session. During the session, no one submitted nomination papers to challenge him.

At 4:00 p.m., Chief Minister Abdul Quddus Bizenjo will take the oath of office at Governor House in Quetta. Syed Zahoor Ahmad Agha, Governor of Balochistan, will deliver the oath to the elected Chief Minister.

Members of the legislature, political party leaders, and civil and military officials will all be present for the swearing-in ceremony.

Abdul Quddus Bizenjo had previously submitted five nomination papers, all of which were deemed valid by the Secretary Assembly.
