Indian expansionist plans threaten peace in Azad Jammu and Kashmir

The Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, said that the Indian expansionist plans threaten peace in the entire area and urged the UN and the international world to note the crimes committed by the Indians and help the Kashmiris gain their right to self-determination.

In response to the Indian forces’ atrocities against the Kashmiri people, the Prime Minister stated that India has turned the entire occupied Kashmir into an army cantonment, and the people’s civil and human rights have been violated.

He stated that the 131-page Foreign Office document had informed the international community about India’s aggressive designs and the dire situation in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IIOJ&K).

Through efforts to bring about a demographic change in the valley, the Indian occupation forces’ genocidal operations, UN Security Council resolutions, international laws, and humanitarian laws have all been broken.

He stated that Pakistan’s Prime Minister has skillfully projected the Kashmir problem in its true context at the international level and has proven to be a true ambassador for the Kashmiri people. He went on to say that the Prime Minister had exposed the Indian troops’ atrocities, as well as her illegal and immoral activities on August 5, 2019, intended at changing the demography of the state to carry out its nefarious plans.

He claimed that Hurriyat leaders are being tortured in prison and that young people are being assassinated daily to crush the independence movement and their inherent right to self-determination.

The Prime Minister asked the United Nations and the world’s civilized nations to take the lead in resolving the long-standing Kashmir dispute and building sustainable peace in the region.

The current government, according to Prime Minister Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi, is determined to bring about socio-economic growth. In a speech to a large public gathering on Tuesday (14 September), he stated that the government’s primary objective is to provide health care, education, and justice.

He stated that the previous government overlooked the health and education sectors and that the current government, led by Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan, will devote all its resources to the promotion of education and the provision of health care to the people.

He announced the establishment of an IT university campus, a postgraduate college, and a municipal committee at Abbaspur. He also revealed that Taroti Middle School would be upgraded to a high school, as well as other plans.
