Imran Khan to lay the foundation of the first five-star hotel in Nathiagali

According to the office of the Prime Minister, Imran Khan will lay the foundation of the first-ever 5-star Hotel in Nathiagali.

The hotel will be developed on Galiyat Development Authority land and leased to a local hospitality company. The accommodation of the Hotel will be done and built under the authority of an American Company called Hilton.

Hilton will join Pakistan after more than four decades of exhibiting faith in the government’s pro-foreign investment policies.

The hotel, which is expected to cost $25 million, will bring foreign currency into the country while also giving jobs to locals of Abbottabad and adjacent villages.

Domestic tourism is on the upswing, and the opening of a 5-star hotel in Nathia Gali will make the sector more appealing.

In the conference, while laying the foundation of the Hotel, Imran Khan talked about many things related to the economy and Overseas Pakistanis.

Prime Minister pointed out the basic expectation from a government which is supposed to always look at the needs of its people. However, it is evident that when a system starts to fail, its priority then becomes to save the failing system and not the people. So, it is our collective effort that will make the system flourish in all perspectives.

It is our job to create modes for wealth creation so the people of Pakistan can have more job opportunities which will also be beneficial in paying off debt.

Overseas Pakistanis

Imran Khan said that it is our responsibility to create ease for the overseas Pakistanis so they can invest their money back home in different projects which will keep the influx of money in constant motion.

The Overseas Pakistanis are extremely talented and smart. They got successful in another country because their own country was not letting them practice their talent.

Imran Khan emphasized the fact that we must create a safety net for the overseas Pakistanis as it is not long ago that Overseas Pakistanis used to make investments in Pakistan, but the land capturers would unofficially take hold of their land which further demotivated them in making investments in their home country.

When the overseas Pakistanis will invest in Pakistan and bring dollars home, it will increase the investment which will increase the reserves, and all of this will ultimately increase the value of the rupee.

Law Making

We must make laws as stated by Imran Khan, as law-making will attract more people to invest in the country. The people will start to trust Pakistan as they will feel that we care about the money they are bringing in.

People who oppose a good system do so because they are used to operating in a corrupt system which is why investments don’t come to our Country.

Tourism

Imran Khan greatly stressed generating revenue through tourism. He said that the PTI government in its 5-year government in KPK ended poverty by promoting tourism. The numbers are also visible from a UNDP report.

Lastly, he said that bringing Hilton to Pakistan means that the country is looking to generate revenue from‘ high-end tourism.’ The next ventures to invest in are more Resorts and to promote skiing.
