Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman of PPP (Pakistan’s Peoples Party) said that the next government in Balochistan will be formed by them on Sunday (8th August). He added that PPP is the only party that can solve the problems of Balochistan.
According to Bilawal, the people of Balochistan have been through a lot in the last five years. He claimed that the Pakistan People’s Party is the only political party in the country that cares about the poor’s concerns. The PPP chairman welcomed numerous new Balochistan members into the party, including Abdul Qadir Baloch and Sanaullah Zehri, and pledged the party’s complete support to them.
Bilawal praised the Baloch people for their previous support for his grandfather, Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and added that the PPP has always worked for the poor and needy. He stated that the Benazir Income Support Programme was launched to help people get out of poverty, and all other political parties in the country, except for the PPP are attempting to take away the rights of Baloch people. According to him, PPP is the only party that knows how to offer Baloch people their rightful rights.
New members of PPP
Abdul Qadir Baloch, who recently joined PPP also spoke during the rally. He said that he wants to bid farewell to PML-N as a high quantity of its numbers has been decreased in Balochistan along with PTI which is the reason why he decided to join hands with PPP. Additionally, Baloch said that the PPP has proved its worth in the province based on merit and that if the party continues to do good work in the province, it will be able to form a government with ease.
Sanaullah Zehri, a former member of the PML-N also announced that he will be joining hands with PPP. He said that he has decided to change his party because Nawaz Sharif disrespected some of the members of Balochistan. He said that respect was the one thing we asked from Punjab because the people of Balochistan have been making sacrifices from the times of British rule.
However, since Bilawal Bhutto is the grandson of Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto, the people of Balochistan expect him to not do what PML-N did. Sanaullah Zehri assured Bilawal that he is willing to make more sacrifices than he ever made for PML-N. Zehri said that PPP is the party of Benazir Bhutto, his martyred sister which is why I will present all my sweat to PPP. He also added that he wishes to see Bilawal as the next Prime Minister of Pakistan.
Farrukh Habib
Meanwhile, Farrukh Habib, the Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting, predicted that Bilawal would never be able to form a government in Balochistan. He said that Bilawal has picked Balochistan after failing to cause havoc in other regions of the country.
Farrukh Habib questioned Bilawal that he should tell everyone about his plans of overthrowing the federal government mainly with the support of the party which has been relegated to a province. He said that Bilawal should instead inform the Baloch people about his party’s terrible defeats in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and Gilgit Baltistan
According to Farrukh, people like Bilawal have no right to talk about “honor” in politics. He said that such people can only focus on things like corruption and looted money. Meanwhile, the PTI government has allocated a significant amount of funds for the upliftment of Balochistan as PTI is the only government that had been ensuring equal development opportunities in every province.
