Twp persons jumps into Lok Sabha from visitor’s gallery: Reports

TANASHAHI NAHI CHALEGI

Two individuals jumped in the Lok Sabha from the visitor’s gallery and reportedly hurled a gas-emitting object, causing turmoil and leading to the adjournment of the House.

At the same time, the reports said just outside the hallowed Parliament premises, a woman and another individual discharged colored gas from canisters, their voices echoing with the fervent slogan ‘tanashahi nahi chalegi’ (dictatorship will not be tolerated).

Swift and decisive action unfolded as security forces promptly apprehended all four individuals embroiled in these audacious incidents.

Identified as Sagar Sharma and Manoranjan, the two implicated in the Lok Sabha breach crafted their entry through the visitor’s gallery, with Sharma having secured access as a guest of Mysuru Lok Sabha member Prathap Simha.

In response to the breach, a seamless collaboration ensued between Lok Sabha Security, Delhi Police, and Paramilitary forces, rapidly cordoning off the affected area. The anti-terror unit special cell of the Delhi Police swiftly arrived to meticulously interrogate those deemed responsible for this unprecedented security lapse.

Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla, in a solemn address to MPs, disclosed that both intruders within the Parliament’s sanctum had been apprehended, their possessions seized. Further emphasizing the gravity of the situation, he underscored the detention of the two individuals outside the Parliament by the vigilant police.

Amidst the commotion, BJP MP Rajendra Agarwal, presiding over the Chair of the Speaker, candidly acknowledged a security loophole.
