Islamabad Police (ICT police) on Tuesday arrested a man named Usman Mirza for charges of forceful stripping and sexual harassment of a young woman.
The man is a resident of the twin cities in the assault case of a young couple. A video was leaked on Tuesday in which Usman Mirza was brutally assaulting a young woman and a man. He threw violent blows to the young man’s face before proceeding to remove the woman’s clothes forcefully and sexually assault her. It is evident from looking at the video that the room in which the couple was being tortured was full of men.
Senior journalist Mubashir Zaidi was the one to highlight the issue initially, he later also confirmed news of the arrest on twitter.
ICT police confirmed that Usman Mirza forced the woman in the video to strip in front of him. He had made this video at least a couple months ago and he was using it to blackmail the woman. There are other videos which have gone viral showing the weapons owned by Usman Mirza. Islamabad Police confirmed the arrest of Usman Mirza on twitter along with his accomplices Farhan, Mudaris Butt and Atta-ur-Rehman.
PTI MNA Maleeka Bokhari gave update on the Usman Mirza issue and tweeted that women have been reaching out to her and telling her that they feel unsafe.
Former Provincial Minister, Faisal Sabzwari also tweeted on this issue. The senator also tweeted videos in which Usman Mirza is showing off his money and weapons which only confirms how Usman Mirza is blatantly violating the law.

Usman Mirza deals in real estate as a profession and he is the owner of an automobile rental company called Auto Land in Islamabad’s I-9 sector.
