All set for Nawaz Sharif’s return to Lahore on Saturday

Nawaz returning to country after 3 years

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) is preparing an enthusiastic reception for its leader Nawaz Sharif who will arrive in Pakistan on Saturday (tomorrow) after concluding his four-year self-exile in London.

Nawaz Sharif’s return marks a highly anticipated moment for the party and its followers who jointly went to great lengths to ensure a grand welcome, with party workers being mobilized and urged to join the festivities en masse.

Former Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, Nawaz Sharif’s brother, emphasized the historic significance of this event during the launch ceremony of a new anthem dedicated to Nawaz’s homecoming the other day.

Shehbaz Sharif urged party leaders and supporters not to miss the occasion and pledged that Nawaz Sharif would lead the nation towards progress.

Addressing the gathering, PML-N chief organizer Maryam Nawaz Sharif praised her uncle, Shehbaz Sharif, for his unwavering support during challenging times.

She highlighted the resilience of Nawaz Sharif, emphasizing that despite various attempts to sideline him politically, he endured.

Nawaz Sharif, on arrival in Lahore, will address a rally at the historic Minar-i-Pakistan ground.

Meanwhile, the PML-N leader, the other day, has received two big reliefs from the courts just two days before his arrival.

The IHC granted Nawaz Sharif protective bail in the Al-Azizia and Avenfield corruption references on Thursday, which was followed by suspension of his arrest warrant in the Toshakhana case by an accountability court.

The authorities have been barred from arresting Nawaz Sharif on his return to the country on October 21.

The PML-N leadership have commended the decision while others have their own concerns to express in public.
