First direct Hajj flight carrying Pakistani pilgrims lands in Makkah Mukarrama

Total 1050 pilgrims to arrive Makkah tonight

Saudi Arabia’s Airline SV 3727, the first direct flight to Makkah Mukarrama carrying 340 intending pilgrims of the Government Hajj Scheme, successfully landed at Jeddah Airport on Monday.
The Pakistani pilgrims received a jubilant welcome from the Pakistan Hajj Mission upon their arrival in the sacred city.
The Pakistan Hajj Mission greeted the pilgrims with a grand reception in Makkah Mukarrama. The pilgrims were showered with rose petals and treated to refreshing juices. They were also presented with delightful gifts, including sweets, as a gesture of hospitality.
A total of three flights carrying 1050 hajj pilgrims are scheduled to arrive in Jeddah from Islamabad and Multan by Monday evening. Among them, two flights, including SV 3723, will bring 340 pilgrims from Islamabad, while another flight SB 3801 will carry 370 intending pilgrims from Multan.
Starting from now, the Hajj flight service will transport intended pilgrims directly to Makkah, Saudi Arabia. Ten Pakistani cities will offer flights to Makkah, with the final aircraft departing for the holy city on June 21. Rahim Yar Khan is scheduled for the first flight on June 6, followed by Sukkur on June 7.
The post-hajj flight operation is set to commence on July 4. After completing the Hajj, the pilgrims will spend eight days in Madina before returning to Pakistan.
Throughout their pilgrimage, the pilgrims will have access to round-the-clock medical services provided by a dedicated team of over 137 doctors and paramedics, ensuring their well-being and safety.
