Pakistan on Wednesday conducted successful flight test of Fatah-II which was equipped with state of the art avionics, sophisticated navigation system and unique flight trajectory.

The information was officially released by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

“The weapon system is capable of engaging targets with high precision up to a range of 400 kilometres,” it noted.

It said the flight test was witnessed by senior officers from tri services and dedicated scientists and engineers.

President, Prime Minister of Pakistan, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and Chief of Army Staff congratulated participating troops and scientists on successful conduct of flight test.

In October, Pakistan achieved a milestone with the successful flight test of the Ababeel Weapon System. The missile system is strategically designed to bolster deterrence and promote strategic stability in the region, aligning with the operationalization of Full Spectrum Deterrence within the framework of Credible Minimum Deterrence.

Earlier, in August 2021, Pakistan marked another success with the test of the Fatah-1 guided multi-launch rocket system (MLRS), described as an “indigenously developed” system.
