T20 World Cup: Pakistan Scores 5 Wins In 5 Consecutive Matches

Pakistan scored 5 wins on Sunday (7th November) after winning the T20 match against Scotland by 72 runs.

After great performances in the previous round, Pakistan has already advanced to the semi-finals, while Scotland has yet to win in the Super 12 stage. This will be the Super 12’s final encounter for both teams.

Wishes started pouring in from everywhere after the victory against Scotland was declared.

Office of the Prime Minister on Imran Khan called the Pakistani team invincible in T20 matches.

Babar Azam posted on Twitter and said, “One step at a time.”

Shoaib Malik – who received the man of the match trophy – said on Twitter that he “dedicated today’s “Man of the match” to all team members of Pakistan squad, come on guys we can do this, inshAllah!”

Furthermore, Pakistan Cricket Board posted a video on Twitter in which Babar Azam interviews Shoaib Malik to figure out his strategy behind such a good finish.

Ramiz Raja also posted on Twitter and said, “For a World Cup run, five out of five wins is an incredible effort.”

Scottish team visited Pakistan’s dressing room

On Sunday, the Scotland cricket team paid a visit to the dressing room of Pakistan’s team to interact with the players. They also celebrated Pakistan pacer Haris Rauf’s 28th birthday, which he celebrated on November 7.

Pakistani players celebrated Haris Rauf’s birthday with members of the Scotland cricket team after winning their final match of the T20 World Cup Super-12.

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) released a video of the players congratulating Haris Rauf on his birthday.

Cricket Scotland’s official Twitter account also posted the video and wrote, “We even had cake with @TheRealPCB”

Shaheen Shah Afridi also wished Haris Rauf on his birthday.

India vs. Namibia

The teams prepare for the final match of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 Super 12 stage, with the line-up for the semi-finals already established.

India will be eliminated from the tournament following New Zealand’s victory over Afghanistan on Sunday, even if they win heavily in their final encounter against Namibia.

The Indian team is ending its tournament with a disappointing finish. They were hoping to end an era with a trophy, with Ravi Shastri scheduled to retire after the tournament and Virat Kohli standing down as T20I captain.

On an opposite note, Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Information & Broadcasting Government of Pakistan posted on Twitter and said if India Finishes the match in 3 over against Namibia, “they can reach the airport early.”
