Army Aviation’s Aircraft Crashed

On Thursday, 12 August 2021, A Mushshak aircraft crash-landed in Chammala village near Jhelum. Fortunately, the two Army pilots are safe but they have received minor injuries. The incident took place due to a technical failure.

According to the Jhelum police Sub-Inspector Ahsen Butt, The aircraft had taken wing from Nakodar Airbase at 8:41 am and unluckily got crashed at 8:45 am within 4 minutes after its take-off. The aircraft was on its routine training mission.

He said that Captain Ahmed Shah and Captain Daniyal both were inside the aircraft but ejected safely before the crash. Soon after the crash, a rescue operation was conducted, and both pilots had been given first aid.

This is the second incident that has taken place in the same week. On Friday, 6 August 2021, a fighter trainer jet of the Pakistan Air Force had crashed due to a technical fault near Attock city.

 The spokesperson of the Pakistan Air Force said that the fighter trainer jet was on a routine training flight at the time it crashed near Minhas airbase around 12:20 pm.

As per the report, no loss of property or life has been reported. An inquiry board has been ordered to investigate the cause of the incident.

The Mushshak is a lightweight, two-seater, single-engine aircraft. It is capable of operating from short unprepared strips and is not dependent on any ground equipment. It has a structured life of 9500 hours and is designed while keeping flexibility in mind. It can cover both army and primary training.

The Mushshak aircraft is ideal for Basic flight training, Instrument flying, Night flying, Formation flying, Aerobatics, stalls, and deliberate spins along with Navigation flying.
