The Security Forces have killed at least five terrorists in an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) carried out in area of Mullazai, Tank District.
The operation was conducted on reported presence of terrorists.
“On night 7/8 December 2023, an Intelligence Based Operation (IBO) was conducted in area of Mullazai, Tank District, on reported presence of terrorists,” said the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) in a news release.
“After an intense fire exchange, five terrorists were sent to hell. The terrorists remained actively involved in numerous terrorist activities against Law Enforcement Agencies as well as extortion and target killing of innocent civilians.”
It said a cache of weapons, ammunition and explosives was also recovered during the operation.
The ISPR said sanitisation operation was being conducted to eliminate any other terrorists present in the area, as the “security forces of Pakistan are determined to wipe out the menace of terrorism from the country.”
