Dubai Expo 2020 launches a special passport for Visitors

Dubai 2020 Expo, amid the COVID-19 pandemic, is providing a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for people. It will allow visitors to travel around the world through a customizable passport which will help them in making up for all the plans which were hampered due to the pandemic. According to the Dubai Media Office, the special passport will track the trip of the visitors to over 200 pavilions.

This special customizable passport is like a real passport. Each Expo 2020 passport is unique and contains a variety of benefits:

  • Enhanced security features.
  • A unique number.
  • An area to include a passport-sized photo.
  • Personal details.
  • Hidden watermarked images on each page.

The 50-page booklet also features images of the pavilions representing the major Expo 2020 themes:

  • The Opportunity Pavilion’s Mission Possible.
  • The Mobility Pavilion’s Alif.
  • The Sustainability Pavilion’s Terra.
  • The famous al-Wasl Plaza.
  • The crown jewel of the Expo site.
  • Other Dubai landmarks, such as the city’s iconic skyline.

While linking the past and present, the passport also commemorates the UAE’s Golden Jubilee year with a unique page printed in gold foil with an image of the country’s founder, Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, from 1971.

The passport can now be purchased by the visitors for 20 AED ($5.45) through all official Expo 2020 Dubai stores. It can also be accessed online or from Dubai’s Airport Terminal 3.

The Expo Dubai is set to be one of the world’s biggest cultural gatherings. The event itself will begin on the 1st of October which will include more than 60 live events every day along with culinary and cultural practices for 182 consecutive days.

The distinctive yellow passport invites attendees to visit as many pavilions as possible and allows them to relive those unique moments long after the mega-event has ended.
