Plan for restoring law and order in KPK is ready

CM KPK Gandapur unveiled the plan

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister, Ali Amin Gandapur, emphasized the pressing need for restoring law and order in the province, unveiling a comprehensive plan aimed at tackling escalating security concerns.

Addressing the media during his inaugural visit to Dera Ismail Khan since assuming office, the PTI leader underscored the gravity of the situation, citing recent incidents of violence that have plagued the region.

Last year, Pakistan experienced a surge in terrorist activities, particularly in KP and Balochistan, following the termination of a ceasefire by the banned militant group Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan in November 2022.

CM Gandapur outlined his administration’s strategy to address these challenges, emphasizing the imminent implementation of a security plan as a priority for fostering progress in the region. He also pledged measures to ensure the safety of law enforcement personnel in light of heightened terrorist threats.

Beyond security concerns, Gandapur highlighted his government’s commitment to improving healthcare services, including the reinstatement of the Sehat Card facility to enhance treatment facilities at public hospitals. Additionally, in response to the prevailing inflationary pressures, he announced a Ramazan package to provide financial assistance to 850,000 deserving families, aimed at easing their financial burdens.

In addressing long-term economic challenges, the chief minister underscored the importance of revenue generation and job creation, emphasizing initiatives to provide employment opportunities for women and skill training for youth. He also stressed the significance of addressing food security issues, announcing plans for the construction of small dams to bolster water resources in the region.

Gandapur affirmed his government’s commitment to collaboration with the federal government to address the country’s economic challenges, noting ongoing discussions with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. He urged the media to play a proactive role in highlighting the concerns of the populace, pledging his administration’s receptiveness to constructive criticism and its commitment to taking appropriate action in response.

CM Gandapur reiterated his government’s resolve to transform KP into a model province, prioritizing sustainable development and inclusive growth to address the myriad challenges facing the region.
